So yesterday we briefly touched upon annoyances we all encounter when heading to the gym. Today's blog discusses the Do's and Don'ts of the dreaded locker room.

- It's great to have a space where you can stash all your personal belongings, but let's not get too personal okay?!! While we understand that some people are just very comfortable in their own skin and it is after-all a locker room; there is a fine line of what is appropriate behavior. Engaging in full length conversation with a mere stranger while going Full Monty, doesn't always bode well. No one needs to see all of your personal business for an extended period of time while you are discussing some meaningless BS. And by all means, please finish getting dressed before you answer your phone. Not everyone wants to see your Buffalo Bush while you chat with your Aunt Ethel!!!
- Then there's the short girl issue- that's right, the short ladies have to use the low lockers, not only can we not reach the locks on the "upper deck" it just really makes no sense for us to try and jump shoot our belongings into those tall lockers which are obviously made for women over the height of 5'8. So if you're one of these special tall amazon ladies, please be kind and leave the short lockers to well, the shorties. Please and Thank You.
- Some people have a very extended beauty regiment and some people are just outright unaware of other people! If you carry a gym bag the size of a Hyundai- it doesn't mean you need to spread all of your stuff out EVERYWHERE, this is a shared communal space- not your personal bathroom. Of course, there are those people who will go out of their way to say excuse me, scoot their stuff out of your way and even tell you to have "a good one" before they leave...which often makes us forget all about being stuck behind that jackass earlier in the parking lot!!!
